Phat sam's is primarily a work based backpackers hostel. Why not make your way down to phat sam's for a week or weekend away from the city or if you need that farm job to extend your work visa then sam will be more than happy to help you find a job. Travelling by car from perth will take you approx 3hrs or by bus will take about 4 hrs. There are two bus services operating from perth which go to busselton every day. Southwest coach lines leaves from the perth bus port, a one way ticket is $27, for info call (08) 9324 2333. Work opportunities in the area are plentiful the whole year round. Travellers with working holiday visas seeking farm and rural work are encouraged to make their way to busselton. Conveniently located in the town centre and is very close to the cbd. The hostel is ground level, tv and kitchen area, a wash house, has 7 bedrooms, undercover outdoor area with stone pizza oven and a large grassed backyard. Trans wa bus service leaves from the east perth train station, a one way ticket will cost $27, for info call 1300 66 22 05. Phat sam's hostel is situated 200metres west of the visitors centre (trans wa) and is a 5 minute walk to the town precinct.
